Our dog Risis passed this evening. She had a rare bladder cancer. A border collie, stubborn to the end, she fought valiantly, wagging her tail and refusing anything but treats.

Sherbert

Our cat Sherbert passed away this morning. She had a stroke that left her paralyzed yesterday, and this morning after a brief recovery, a seizure and passed. She will be missed.

Why Obatron?

Years ago I was playing a video game and needed a name for the avatar I was creating. My wife, who is an excellent resource for names on the fly, replied with Obatron. I've used it for most everything ever since. While I have been using it, I have noticed others have started using it as well, so it may not always be me behind the moniker...sigh.
